Dr. Thomas Lutz

Dr. Thomas Lutz is an experienced physician who has committed his career to specializing in the treatment of a wide variety of venous disorders including varicose veins and spider veins. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine and the American Vein and Lymphatic Society.

Dr. Lutz has also earned the credentials of RVT (Registered Vascular Technician) and RPVI (Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation) meaning he has undergone extensive training and passed rigorous testing in the area of diagnostic ultrasound.

Dr. Thomas Lutz brings more than eight years of experience in minimally invasive endovenous laser treatment (ELT) and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy to VSI. Prior to specializing in venous disorders, Dr. Lutz practiced as a cardiovascular hospitalist at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Thomas Lutz states, “I find great satisfaction in offering patients a nonsurgical approach to such a prevalent condition. Like Dr. Sorenson, I enjoy helping patients return to an active lifestyle by restoring the health of their legs. When not providing outstanding care to his patients, Dr. Lutz enjoys staying active by running, skiing, playing squash and spending time with his family.
